The data we receive
Only what you send us through the “Write to us” and “Book an appointment” forms:
- your name and email address;
- for an appointment: your boutique’s name, your city, your phone number, the labels you are interested in and your preferred time;
- your message, if you write one.
We ask for nothing else, and we never buy or rent mailing lists.
Why, and on what basis
This information is used for one thing only: replying to your request and, where relevant, arranging your appointment at the showroom. This processing is based on steps taken at your request before any contract and on our legitimate interest in replying to people who write to us (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). No automated decision is made from this data.
Who receives it
Your request is emailed to the agency and to no one else. The website does not store it in its database. To deliver these emails and run the website, we use service providers acting on our behalf: [name of the email provider to be completed] and [name and address of the hosting provider to be completed].
How long we keep it
We keep our exchanges while handling your request, then for at most three years after our last contact, unless a business relationship starts between us. The server’s technical logs (IP address, date and requested page) are used for the website’s security and kept for [duration to be completed, twelve months at most].
Cookies and trackers
The website sets no advertising cookies.
If a tool that requires your consent, such as audience measurement, is switched on, a banner presents it on your first visit. Nothing is set or measured until you accept, and refusing is as easy as accepting. Your choice is remembered for six months in a “csc_consent” cookie, which is strictly necessary for that purpose. You can change your mind at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
People who manage the website receive a session cookie when they log in, which is required to administer it. It does not concern visitors.
Audience measurement
If you accept it, we use Google Analytics to know how many people visit the website, which pages they read, where they come from and what kind of device they use. This helps us improve the website; we do not use it to identify you or for advertising.
- Google Analytics only loads after you agree. If you refuse, or until you choose, no data is sent to Google.
- The “_ga” and “_ga_…” cookies last thirteen months at most, and are deleted as soon as you withdraw your consent.
- Google’s advertising features (Google signals, ad personalisation) are switched off.
- Statistics are kept for [14 months — to be checked in Google Analytics].
- This data is processed on our behalf by Google Ireland Limited. It may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States, which is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Content from other services
The fonts and the Instagram wall images are served by our own servers: unless you accept audience measurement, your browser contacts neither Google nor Instagram when displaying our pages. Links to Instagram, Google Calendar or Outlook only take you to those services if you click them; their own rules then apply.
Your rights
You can access your data, have it corrected or erased, object to its processing, or ask for its restriction or portability. Simply write to us at info@collectionssurcintre.org: we reply within one month.
If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority: www.cnil.fr/en.
